This new watch was perfectly designed to suit the most exigent tastes. The CST-01 designers refer to it as ” ‘time’ embedded in a band”.
The minimalistic design needed no buttons on the watch hence you can only charge it and work on its settings on the base station that comes with your watch.
The qualities of E Ink segmented displays is the key to the whole design. It allows flexibility, economy on energy, and it simply looks cool!
The “brain of the operation is the “micro energy cell” (MEC). It can be recharged 10,000 times and has a lifespan of over 15 years. The charging lasts no more than 10 minutes and the world’s thinnest wristwatch functions for a month in between charges. The MEC contains no toxic chemicals or heavy metals providing hence it’s both safe and eco-friendly at the same time.
