Cool Droplet Levitation Through Acoustics
Levitation is cool! And it would appear that water can levitate. Yes, you read that right, little droplets of water can levitate and float into thin air to our amazement. See the cool video right here.
A team of researchers from the have been working on the development of an acoustic levitator, which is now able to suspend little drops of water and all sorts of liquid into the air.
How is that possible?
The whole amazing and cool situation is possible due to two speakers placed at the top and bottom of the device. They create a sound waves which are able to suspend water droplets for our viewing pleasure.
