Iceland Worm Monster Swimming In Frozen Lake

This is one of the most amazing videos of a lake monsters we’ve seen yet! The Lagarfljótsormur, better known as the Iceland Worm Monster was caught of tape recently, and from the looks of it, another myth comes to life. The locals have always been talking about a huge worm which lives in the depths of the Lagarfljót Lake, in Iceland, but so far, reports of its sightings were unsupported by solid proof.

Fortunately, for all of you myth believers out there, the extremely long and huge worm-like creature has been spotted and filmed in 2012. Reports of the existence of a 300 feet (91 m) long worm-like monster in the Icelandic lake have been documented since 1345, and eyewitnesses described a huge reptile spotted both on ground and in the water. Wanna know what the legend says about this mythical creature?

According to the legend, the monster comes from a tiny worm, which was placed in some sort of a ring of gold in order to make the gold grow. But instead of the ring growing, the worm began growing in to a large snake, until both the monster and the ring were thrown into the lake of Lagarfljót.

Seeing the huge snake is considered to be a bad omen, but what about filming it? Cameraman Hjörtur Kjerúlf captured the gigantic creature swimming in the frozen Jökulsá í Fljótsdal river, which empties into Lake Lagarfljót. Is the monster real? Have a look at the , and see for yourselves…
