On May 30th, 2013, a man caught a UFO on film while he was flying aboard an airplane over Iran. See the amazing video right here.

UFO sightings are no longer a rare phenomenon these days, and that may be due to the fact that a very high percentage of people have a filming device ranging from cell phones to cameras. Getting a window seat on a plane now has even more advantages if you plan on taking pictures or filming your trip, for example, you can film a UFO flying over Iran, as the person who shot the video below did.

As you may see in the video and in the pictures, the unsuspecting man started filming his flight, when out of the blue, an amazing unidentified flying object appeared to be floating weightlessly under the plane. The lenticular and symmetrical object has been rumored to be a balloon or a bird, but scientists have dismissed those speculations.

The object apparently has a downward direction since its shape is changing to become a much smaller body, a sign that loses height. The UFO was recorded at an astonishing speed of 800 kilometers per hour from the perspective of the witness (who was on the plane). If we look at the last seconds of the video, experts say that the object was much faster than the aircraft itself.

Roona Begum is a 18 month old baby with severe hydrocephalus which made her head swell to twice the normal size. The poor baby’s life was threatened by this rare medical condition. Roona Begum lives in the village of Jirania Khola, India, and her severe swollen head is caused by a medical condition knows as hydrocephalus. The cerebral fluid is not properly drained, and it causes the head to swell and deform.

Due to the immenseness of Roona’s head, the rest of her body could not keep up, hence, she could not sit up, crawl, or do any of the things a normal child would do. Moreover, the skin from the base of her head was not getting propper irrigation, and started to get infected. The little girl was severely malnourished, and half blind due to the fact that her expanding tissues forced her eyes to go deeper into their sockets.

Due to extreme poverty, the child’s parents could not afford the simple procedure that involved a shunt being placed inside the baby’s brain, which would allow the fluid to be drained into another part of the body, where the bloodstream could process it.

Luckily, after having her pictures distributed worldwide, the child was flown to a hospital where the doctors pierced her skull, drained nearly 3 liters of fluid, and inserted the much needed shunt. Two weeks after the draining process began, Roona’s head’s circumference reached 69 centimeters from the astonishing figure of 94 cm.

Sadly, the baby might have suffered damage in the left side of her brain, and could also be blind due to the fact that she could not use her eyes for such a long time.

Her pupils are now visible, her hair got thicker, and she can open her mouth more often. The doctors still have to perform more surgeries on her, in order to reshape her skull to the normal size, and assure a normal growth for the baby girl.

Blindness can soon be a problem of the past with the newly invented wireless bionic eye. A team of scientists from Australia has developed a bionic eye that consists of a part which is implanted in the bran, and an exterior component, similar to the new google glass. Curios to find out more?

Scientists have developed a new technology through which a microcip implanted in the brain and a digital camera which is connected to a pair of glasses, will allow visually impaired peope to see the outlines of their surroundings.

In the eventuality that this bionic eye succeeds, over 85 percent of the people who have been legally declared blind, could be able to see again.

Professor Mark Armstrong from the Monash University declared that:
“That signal is then transmitted wirelessly from what’s called a coil, which is mounted at the back of the head and inside the brain there is an implant which consists of a series of little ceramic tiles and in each tile are microscopic electrodes which actually are embedded in the visual cortex of the brain.”

During a fishing expedition on the River Congo in Africa, British angler Jeremy Wade, 52, caught Goliath tigerfish.

Goliath is regarded as one of the largest freshwater fish in the world and is feared much larger and more deadly than the piranha.

The giant fish has 32 teeth that are similar in size to those of a great white shark and it was learned that it attacks humans and crocodiles.

When people name something or someone Goliath, you’d better expect to see something humongous! And that is clearly the case of the Goliath tigerfish. The biggest monster fish from this species caught up until now was 5 feet long and weighed 154 pounds, but there are indications that even much bigger specimens roam the Lualaba River, Lake Upemba and Lake Tanganyika in Africa

Each of this monster’s razor-sharp teeth can be up to one inch long, and when these “knifes” gulp on the unsuspecting prey, you can pretty much expect a clean cut…

The Goliath tigerfish species takes really long to breed, because, well, in a nutshell… they like to hint and eat a lot, so they invest their energy into killing rather than breeding. After the surgery, the 46 year-old man could not only see better, he realized that he could also see more than he ever did, and more than normal people do. So basically, he got his genuine super power, he can see ultraviolet light.

When he told his friends and relatives about the fact that he can see much better in the dark, they didn’t really take him seriously, but all that changed when an engineer at Hewlett-Packard offered to test his so called new abilities.

A bizarre human looking alien body was unearthed in Chile’s Atacama Desert. The alien’s body was mummified and it looked like a miniature human, only 15 centimeters long. The tiny alien body had hard teeth, only ten ribs and darkish skin. Curious to know what the odd creature was? The mystery was solved in 2013 and we have the results right here.

Back in 2003 a weird human-looking alien was discovered in the Atacama Desert. Since then, it has been through various hands and has been subjected to numerous tests in order for us all to find out what this creature is.

Initially, after several DNA tests, the results came back and ruled that the humanoid was of “unknown classification”. The six-inch-long alien had hard teeth, had an elongated skull and ten ribs (unlike humans who have twelve pairs of ribs)

Oscar Munoz was the one who found the bizarre body on October 19, 2003, close to an abandoned church. A local newspaper wrote that the creature was wrapped in a white cloth container.

Later on, the tests have revealed that Ata’s DNA was closer to humans rather than monkeys or any other animals, but in 2013 scientists could say for certain that Ata was indeed human, and that he had an interesting mutation which stopped his growth.

Ata was a male human and he had lived up till the age or 6 or 8. Scientists now wonder how small could Ata have been at birth.

Gary Nolan, director of stem cell biology at Stanford University’s School of Medicine in California declared that

“The observed abnormalities do not fall into any standard or rare classification of known human pediatric disorders. As the current list of human disorders is far from complete and many human disorders are polygenic, there might remain to be found a combination of mutations working in concert that lead to the observed defect(s).”
